We will be adding to this list of links throughout the production
of "Callback".
So keep checking back (often. . .)
NICE PEOPLE WHO'VE SPONSORED US or BEEN VERY GENEROUS WITH THEIR STUFF
- APACHE RENTAL GROUP - Thanks for the walkies; we'd have been lost without you.
- BIRNS & SAWYER - When Callback was little more than an impossible idea B&S were the first company to step up to the plate and say, "What can we do to help?" They also have a picture of Steve McQueen on their web-site.
- CAFE CLUB FAIS DO-DO - It's a great club, two of our crew members have gigged there, and they let us use the ballroom as Ms. Holland's acting class. Thanks Steve Yablock and your staff for your kindness and help.
- DAILY VARIETY - Their magazine is one of our story points
- DIRTY SUE - the original dirty martini mix - they gave us some really cool T-shirts for Moe to wear. Thanks guys.
- IAN WALLACE - What's the link between Bob Dylan and Moe Jones? Ian's played drums with both of them. What is a guy, who has played with George Harrison & Eric Clapton, doing thumping his kit on Mucho Banana you may ask? Well actually I'd rather you didn't. Let's just be very grateful and go to one of his gigs soon.
- LOLA RAY - They're a hot new band from the East Coast and Garry's wears one of their T-shirts. Some lucky extras also went home with Lola Ray swag in their goodie bags
- NORM MARSHALL & ASSOCIATES - They gave us the USA Today that Moe hid behind, the WWF T's that he wore, the water Jack and Vivian drank instead of wine and the soda and food cartons found in Joseph Wiltenbloom's apartment.
- STARBUCKS - They said we'd be able to shoot in one of their stores - OK so that didn't happen but they gave us FREE CUPS for our actors to use to look like they were drinking Starbucks!.
- STUDIO-Z - Zida Borcich and her team are wonderful printers - and they sent us lovely swag for our goodie bags.
- THE RUMOR MILL - A great coffee shop at 11739 West Washington Blvd (XLNT sarnies too) - they let us shoot in their fine gaff when a long-in-the-works location bailed on us at the last moment.
- T-SHIRTS THAT SUCK - When Moe channeled Martinez (the bad-guy role he wants badly) he donned one of their fabulous VIVA LA REVOLUCION! T's. They have other great shirts too. My favourites are NICE RACK and GIRLS DON'T POOP!
- UPSTAIRS - A really cool store for clothes and housewares that will be forever known as "That place in Callback where Moe found his beret." Thanks Jeff for getting up early on a Sunday morning.
